The short answer In brief

These procedure comparisons from Will Be Plastic Surgery set common alternatives side by side, including natural adhesion versus incisional double eyelid, fat repositioning versus fat grafting, facelift versus mini facelift, implant versus non-implant rhinoplasty and botox versus filler. Each explains who each option tends to suit, recovery and limits.

Why compare procedures?

Many decisions in plastic surgery are choices between two reasonable options. Minimal incision or full incision. Removing fat or moving it. A thread lift now or a surgical lift later. Each option has its own strengths, limits, recovery and risks, and the right one depends on your anatomy and priorities.

Each comparison below includes a side-by-side table and a plain explanation of who each option tends to suit. They are a starting point for discussion, not a substitute for examination.

Volume and skin

  • Filler vs Fat Grafting — Hyaluronic acid filler versus your own fat for restoring facial volume.
  • Botox vs Filler — Relaxing muscles versus replacing volume: what each treats and how long it lasts.
  • Rejuran vs Juvelook — Two skin-quality injectables with different mechanisms and different ideal patients.

Choosing a clinic

How is the final choice made?

At consultation, Dr. Kim Jun-young examines the structures involved and explains which option fits your anatomy, and why. Sometimes the answer is a combination; sometimes it is neither. Bring the questions in questions to ask at your consultation, or begin with a virtual consultation. Explore procedures directly through eye surgery, lifting and non-surgical treatments.

Frequently asked questions

Still wondering about something? Ask Dr. Kim directly — every consultation at Will Be is with the surgeon himself.

Do these comparisons tell me which option is right for me?

They explain how the options differ and who each tends to suit, but the right choice depends on your anatomy, health and goals. Dr. Kim Jun-young makes a recommendation only after examining you, and will explain why one option fits better than the other.

Can two compared procedures be combined?

Sometimes. For example, ptosis correction and double eyelid surgery are often performed together, and fat repositioning can be combined with small amounts of fat grafting. Whether combining makes sense depends on your case. See the guide to combining procedures.

Why compare a one-surgeon clinic with a large clinic?

Clinic structure affects who you see, who operates and who follows you up. The comparison sets out the differences factually and respectfully so you can decide what matters to you. It does not suggest any particular clinic is unsafe.

Are non-surgical options compared too?

Yes. Comparisons such as botox versus filler, filler versus fat grafting and Rejuran versus Juvelook explain the differences between non-surgical and minimally invasive treatments, including how long effects typically last.

What if the comparison I need is not listed?

Contact the clinic or start a virtual consultation. Dr. Kim can explain the alternatives for your specific concern, including options that are not covered in these pages.
