Plastic Surgery Pricing and Quotes
A fair price begins with an honest assessment. Your quote should describe your surgery, not someone else's.
Will Be Plastic Surgery does not publish fixed prices. The cost of plastic surgery depends on the procedure, its complexity, whether it is a first operation or a revision, the anesthesia used and any combined procedures. After Dr. Kim Jun-young assesses you, the clinic provides a personal written quote that explains what is included.
Why doesn't Will Be list prices?
Two people asking for the same named procedure may need quite different operations. A first double eyelid surgery and a revision to lower a crease that is too high share a name but differ in time, technique and complexity. A published price would either mislead one of them or come with so many conditions that it says little.
Korean medical advertising rules also restrict how clinics may advertise prices and discounts. Will Be prefers to explain cost in person, once the plan is clear.
What affects the cost of plastic surgery?
- The procedure and its extent. How many areas are treated and how much tissue is involved.
- Primary or revision. Revision surgery often involves scar tissue and altered anatomy, which usually takes more time and care.
- Technique. For example, implant versus natural-tissue rhinoplasty, or the type and number of threads in a thread lift.
- Anesthesia. Local anesthesia, sedation or general anesthesia each involve different resources.
- Combined procedures. Treating more than one area in a single session changes operating time and planning.
- Aftercare. Follow-up visits, dressings and any prescribed medication.

How does the quote process work?
- Consultation. Dr. Kim assesses your anatomy and discusses your goals, in person or first through a virtual consultation.
- Plan. The proposed procedure, technique and anesthesia are explained, along with risks and recovery.
- Written quote. The clinic provides a quote that states what is included, such as the operation, anesthesia and follow-up visits.
- Time to decide. You are not asked to commit on the day. Take the time you need.
An online estimate based on photographs is provisional. The final quote is confirmed after an in-person examination.

Can I get a price before visiting?
You can receive a provisional estimate after a virtual consultation with clear photographs and a description of your concern. It is provisional because details such as skin thickness, muscle strength and scar tissue can only be judged in person. The final quote is confirmed after examination.
Is revision surgery more expensive than a first operation?
Revision surgery often costs more because it tends to take longer and involves working with scar tissue and altered anatomy. The difference depends on what needs to be corrected. Dr. Kim assesses each revision case individually before a quote is given.
What is included in the quote?
The written quote states what it covers, which typically includes the operation, anesthesia and scheduled follow-up visits. Any items not included, such as additional medications or tests, should be listed clearly. Ask the clinic to explain any line you are unsure about.
Does Will Be offer discounts or promotions?
Will Be does not use price promotions as a reason to choose surgery. Korean rules also limit how discounts may be advertised. The clinic's aim is a clear, fair quote based on your actual plan, so you can make a decision on medical grounds.
Can foreign patients claim a VAT refund?
Eligible foreign patients may be able to claim a VAT refund on certain cosmetic procedures in Korea, subject to current government rules. The payment and VAT refund page explains the general process. The clinic can confirm what applies to your procedure.
