Incisional Double Eyelid Before and After Photos Korea
Incisional double eyelid surgery forms the crease through a fine incision along the planned fold, so excess skin and fat can be adjusted and the fold fixed at a set height. The cases below are double eyelid surgery on its own; many more incisional cases at Will Be also correct eye opening.

What to look at in these photos
- Where the scar sits. It should lie in the crease and be hidden with the eyes open.
- Whether heavy or thick lids look lighter after excess skin and fat were adjusted.
- Fold height in proportion to the eye. Early folds look higher and settle lower over the first months.
When the result settles
Stitches usually come out at around 5–7 days and visible swelling eases over 2–3 weeks. The fold looks high and firm at first, softens over the following months and settles by 3–6 months.
Lighting, angle and the time since surgery all change how a photo looks, so compare like with like.
Frequently asked questions
Will the incision scar be visible?
The incision sits in the crease, so it is usually hidden when the eyes are open. Close up with the eyes closed a fine line may show, and it typically fades over 3–6 months.
Who suits incisional rather than non-incisional surgery?
Thicker or fuller lids, excess or hooding skin, a suture fold that has come undone, asymmetry, or mild ptosis that needs correcting at the same time.
Can the fold height be changed later?
It can, but it is harder once scar tissue has formed, especially lowering a fold. That is why the height is chosen conservatively at the first operation.
