Upper Blepharoplasty Before and After Photos Korea
Upper blepharoplasty removes excess upper-eyelid skin, sometimes with a little muscle or fat, to relieve the heaviness and hooding that come with age. These six cases show it on its own, combined with a sub-brow lift, and as a revision.

What to look at in these photos
- Whether skin that rested on the lashes or hid the crease has been lifted away.
- That the result does not look hollow or tight. Skin removal should be conservative.
- Brow position. Removing lid skin under a low brow can pull the brow down further.
When the result settles
Stitches usually come out at around 5–7 days, visible swelling eases over 2–3 weeks, and the lid settles over 2–3 months.
Lighting, angle and the time since surgery all change how a photo looks, so compare like with like.
Frequently asked questions
Is upper blepharoplasty the same as double eyelid surgery?
No. Double eyelid surgery creates a crease, while upper blepharoplasty removes excess skin that comes with age and often refines the crease you already have.
Should I have a brow lift instead?
If your brows have dropped significantly, a forehead lift or sub-brow lift may look more natural, because removing lid skin under a low brow can pull it down further. Dr. Kim checks brow position before recommending one.
Who usually has upper blepharoplasty?
Most patients are in their 40s or older, with skin that hides the crease or rests on the lashes and a tired, heavy feeling in the upper lids.
